TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

1. WHY DOES MY ALARM KEEP BEEPING ?

ONE BEEP PER MINUTE (Low battery warning)

Low battery warning will probably start at night when the batteries are at their coldest. As the battery continues to get weaker the beeping will become more frequent until it is doing it at all times of day. The battery is not replaceable so replace the alarm. If the alarm is less than 10 years old, contact the installer or the FireHawk Safety.

TWO RAPID BEEPS PER MINUTE (Fault signal)

If the alarm is less than 10 years old, contact the installer or FireHawk Safety.

REPEATING SERIES OF FOUR BEEPS WITH A RED LED (Full alarm)

EVACUATE THE PROPERTY AND CALL THE EMERGENCY SERVICES

REPEATED NUISANCE FULL ALARM

If you have been advised by an approved Gas Safe Engineer that you have had a nuisance alarm – Contact FireHawk Safety for further information and guidance.

2. WHY IS THERE A FLASHING YELLOW LIGHT ON MY ALARM?

THIS IS A FAULT! If the alarm is less than 10 years old, contact the installer or FireHawk Safety
